We are an innovative builder in Medicine Hat, building a quality home with emphasis on energy efficiency. It is obvious there is a finite nature to our energy resources. Energy costs are escalating rapidly and action is necessary to combat global warming. We believe the time has come to build houses that do not require the level of resources we have come to take for granted. We pride ourselves in considering the sustainability of the construction materials and practices as well as the overall 'health' of the completed home.

The owners of New Leaf Homes Ltd. are Donna Robinson and Darla Sawatsky. Martin Mathieu of Manix Construction, our framer and advisor, supports our philosophy. His expertise combined with our vision result in a home that is not only of superior quality, but will provide the homeowner with comfort, energy savings, and value.

Although profit is important, our satisfaction will come from building and selling a home that exceeds the expectations of our customers and reflects our values and high standards. Besides being more energy efficient than typical new construction, we strive for our houses to be both conventional (in the best sense of the word) and affordable (approximately 5% over the cost of an equivalent home).
