A community enjoys food security when all of the people, at all times, have access to nutritious, safe, personally acceptable and culturally appropriate food, obtained through normal distribution channels.

Community Food Connections is a non-profit organization of concerned volunteers, agencies and citizens affected by food in-security issues. This partnership is working toward a full understanding of the nature of the problem througout the Palliser Health Region as well as developing solutions to resolve these issues. The Association is sponsored by "Health Connections".
